HOW TO REMOVE PILLING
WHY DO PILLING OCCUR
Pilling is both common and natural and occurs on knitwear. It occurs when the shortest fibre in the yarn reaches the surface of the garment. The amount of pilling depends on the type of fibres in the yarn. For example, short fibres are found in acrylic and nylon, and longer fibres are found in cotton and lambswool. New garments have more excess fibres and will therefore pile up more initially. Pilling is caused by friction, so you will often find pilling in the armholes and on the sides of the garment.
REMOVE PILLING
It's easy to remove the pilling and the garment will look like new. Pilling can be removed with a pilling comb or a pilling remover.
