SUSTAINABILITY –
A MATTER OF CONSCIOUSNESS

For us, sustainability is not a statement, but a way of thinking. A matter of consciousness that guides every choice we make, from the materials we work with to the way we build relationships and run our business. Our approach is simple: we aim to create garments that last, and to do so with respect for the people, the craft and the world around us. Since 1999, this has been a part of how we work and how we think.

THE MATERIALS -
THE FOUNDATION OF OUR DESIGNS

Much of it begins with materials. We work primarily with natural fibres such as wool, cotton, mohair and alpaca. Fibres that endure, require less washing and have natural functional properties form the foundation of our garments. Sometimes a small amount of synthetic fibre is added to strengthen shape or durability, because a long life is what makes a garment truly sustainable. Every yarn, fabric and detail is carefully selected from certified European suppliers who share our values and high standards for quality.

CONCIOUS SLOW FASHION -
THE WAY WE DO IT

We believe in slow fashion, garments made with care, designed to last beyond a single season. We don’t chase trends or experiment with avant-garde designs. Our collections are built around continuity, with timeless pieces that return year after year. Some of our styles have been part of our collections since the beginning, and we always keep colours that carry over from one season to the next. It’s a way to make it easier to build, rather than replace, a wardrobe.

We choose not to participate in campaigns like Black Friday, because we believe that value should come from quality, not from rush or reduction. Humble yet ambitious, we aim to set an example by showing that sustainable design and production are not only achievable but profitable.

“For us, sustainability is not about perfection. It is about awareness, the quiet work of making better choices every day.”

MADE IN EUROPE -
ALWAYS AND FOREVER

All our production takes place in Europe. It is a decision we made early on, and one we still stand by. Working close to our factories allows us to follow the process, ensure good conditions and maintain the level of quality we believe in. Many of our manufacturers have been partners for decades,
and these long relationships are built on trust
and mutual respect.

DELIVERIES & PACKAGING -
SHORT AND PLASTIC FREE

The same thoughtfulness shapes how we transport and deliver our garments. Keeping production within Europe means shorter routes and smaller shipments. When we send products to our retailers, we use plastic-free packaging for deliveries, each garment is wrapped in paper and all boxes are fully recyclable.

THE SUSTAINABILITY PLAN

We’re in it for the long run. By committing to a broad and ambitious sustainability plan, we are to be a credible and inspirational example on how to unite economic, environmental, ethical, and aesthetic sustainability. It rests on five principles: endurance, expertise, efficiency, environment and economy, each a reminder that sustainability is not a separate goal but something that connects everything we do.

Our vision is rooted in hope: a world where sustainable practices are not just the norm but the foundation of creativity and commerce. We see beyond the horizon, imagining a future where innovation and responsibility go hand in hand. With each design, partnership, and process, we aim to redefine what it means to create – crafting not only garments but pathways to a regenerative future.

Life is richer in the open air. That’s where we find freedom, connection, and clarity. We create knitwear shaped by the Swedish weather and seasons – consciously crafted to stand the test of time. Knitting is more than tradition to us – it’s our craft, perfected through generations. We knit for comfort and joy, for protection and warmth. We knit for the everchanging Swedish weather. We don’t chase trends. Instead, we believe in a future built on slow, thoughtful fashion. Our goal is to create garments that are cherished and worn often – until they’re nearly fall apart. And then, just a little longer. Our garments are produced in Europe. They are made for the seasons, not for the trends.
