MORE ABOUT LINEN

Like cotton, linen has good moisture absorption and is a material that therefore feels cool against the skin and breathes naturally. Linen also has antiseptic properties, which is good for the skin. If you have sensitive skin or skin problems, linen clothes are usually good. Our linen blend is made from 55% linen and 45% cotton. Cotton also absorbs moisture and makes the garment a little softer. It also ensures that the garment retains its shape and does not stretch. Our linen blend is Öko-tex certified, which means that the garments do not contain any substances that are dangerous to skin and health because the use of chemicals is minimized during production.

LINEN – AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MATERIAL

Linen is an ancient and valuable plant fiber extracted from the linen plant. It is a material that is resistant to pests and requires less pesticides. Linen also requires little water to grow compared to other fibers, making it a responsible and environmentally friendly choice. Linen can also be grown in colder climates, which many other crops cannot. Linen fabric is a durable material that withstands wear and tear, and therefore the garments also have a long lifespan.

About Holebrook Sweden

Holebrook is a Swedish brand with a focus on knitted clothing. We were born on the Swedish west coast and our first collection was knitted sweaters with a windproof elastic lining. Today, more than twenty years later, they are still part of our collection. Sustainability is part of our DNA, it’s reflected in our business model and in our brand strategy. Our down-to-earth approach to sustainability is based on wool, cotton, mohair and alpaca. Natural materials that do not need to be washed as often, which prolongs the life of the garments and reduces their impact on the environment. Our clothes are timeless and made for the seasons, not the trends. All our clothes are made in Europe by suppliers who share our strive and commitment to quality and sustainability.
